The 'Springvale Getaway' is a stand-alone 2-bedroom beautiful house for you to enjoy. It is centrally located and only a few minutes drive to the Whanganui's CBD, the Whanganui River, Virginia Lake, sports arenas and beaches. Everything in the house has been created so you can enjoy your 'getaway' time in Whanganui.

The house is tastefully decorated, featuring a new woollen carpet and great lighting.
Gorgeous hanging plants decorate each room and create interest and texture. The beautiful atmosphere will make you feel right at home.

The lounge and kitchen are open-plan. The recliner sofa and the bean bag make for great seating while watching your favourite programme on the Smart TV. The high-speed unlimited WiFi will allow many online activities.
The kitchen is fully equipped with many essentials for preparing food, including oil and spices.

On arrival, enjoy a cup of organic plunger coffee or a hot chocolate. You can choose from a variety of teas also. For breakfast, you may have fresh fruits, muesli, wheat bix or toast. Porridge oats or a pancake shaker are also available. Alternative milk options can be provided on request.

Children are most welcome. A variety of toys, games and books as well as a Mocka high-chair and a port-a-cot for under 2's can be provided on request.

In the main bedroom, a super comfortable queen-sized bed with 100% cotton bedding and a 100% block-out curtain will provide a long and great night's sleep. The room features a large mirror and a built-in cupboard.
In the 2nd smaller bedroom, you will find a workstation, a built-in cupboard, and a king-sized bed with a single bed tucked underneath it. This single bed can be pulled out to make either two separate single beds or a queen-sized bed on request. Please advise during the booking process what you will need. Note, that the desk will be removed if an extra bed is required.

The bathroom includes a shower and a bathtub. You will find all essentials from soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioners, as well as a hair dryer. Features include great lighting and a make-up mirror.

In the laundry, you will find the washing machine and a tub. Wet clothing can be hung up on the external washing line behind the house.

Heating and cooling. The house is warm, light and cosy with an efficient heat pump. If needed a large cooling fan as well as a small portable electric heater are available.

The outdoor space is a small courtyard with outdoor seating for four. The garden and path are well-maintained and feature solar lights. A sun umbrella and a large tree provide additional shade in summer. It is surprising how many Tui birds claim this neighbourhood as their own. You will hear their chorus throughout the day. This is the best time to hang out in the hammock and enjoy. The section is fully fenced.

Steps. Please note that three steps lead up onto the deck to the entrance door and again down to the courtyard.

Parking. You can park one car in front of the black garage door. The garage itself is not available for guests. Additional free car parks are on the street.

Pets, who are well-behaved are welcome. Please provide their bedding and food. A water bowl will be placed outside by the entrance door. The resident hedgehog sleeping under the deck, plus all the neighbouring cats must remain safe.
